Matthieu Zirn learned drums and percussions at the Drummer Collective School in New York.
He has since toured with Alain Souchon, Patricia Kaas, Art Mengo, Charles Aznavour, Véronique Sanson, Hugh Coltman and Thomas Dutronc.
